I was running Kalyway Leopard on an Intel Core 2 Duo with an ATI x1950 GFX card and 2gb ram, but it was a pain because I'd have to swap my speakers into a supported (on-board) sound card that didn't sound as nice. So I've installed Ubuntu, themed it like a Mac, and that fills that niche for the moment.
I'm getting an MSI Wind soon, and there are extensive tutorials on installing leopard onto it, so now I just wait to gather the funds
I'm running iPC OSX86 10.5.6 on a Core 2 Duo with a Geforce 9800GTX+. I had Kalyway before, updated to 10.5.5 but then the 10.5.6 update killed my install But iPC is much faster than Kalyway, although I have to reinstall again because I've messed something up with the usb kexts.
Yeah, the Wind seems to be pretty good for installing Leopard, didn't Apple sue Wired for a video where they showed how to install it on the Wind?
I always wondered why they didn't focus more on the previous versions of OS X, like tiger. They aren't going to update the as often and you'll be less likely to ruin everything (or stop being able to use things anyways) by having to update...
iPC? Never heard of it, but since I've never been 100% on Kalyway, I should give it a look.
And yeah, Apple is trying to sue Wired over that tutorial. Crazy world we live in.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
